Here’s a great review of Glo in Rick Warren’s Ministry Toolbox featured on pastors.com.

Look through the pages of history and you’ll see that God always used the technology of the day to communicate His Word in creative and fresh new ways. Whether it was Paul’s use of the Roman highway system in the first century, the Reformer’s use of the printing press during the Reformation, or the church’s growing use of the Internet over the past couple of decades, God has a way of making the most of the latest technology.

A new interactive multi-media Bible library, called the GLO Bible Premium, is the most recent example of this age-old story. After using it for a couple of weeks, I definitely believe it’s a helpful Bible study tool for pastors, Bible students, lay leaders, and anyone who wants to study God’s Word in a fresh way.

Glo and Microsoft at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show!

We are really excited to announce that Microsoft will showcase the Glo Bible at CES as one of only a handful of apps on new Windows 7 slate devices!

Immersion Digital, makers of the Glo Bible, plans to showcase their immersive touch-enabled digital Bible on a number of new Windows-based slate devices that will make their debuts at CES.  Glo was one of only a handful of applications selected by Microsoft as a prime example of applications touch-tuned to maximize the interactivity and features of the new slate devices.

Immersion Digital also announced today that it has been selected to join the Microsoft® BizSpark One Program.  Designed as a global program that offers software, support, and visibility to early stage startups, Microsoft chose Immersion Digital from over 30,000 BizSpark companies as one of 75 companies selected to engage in one-to-one relationships with Microsoft and a global community of advisors, investors and peers to help accelerate the company’s growth.
