We love our hometown paper! The Orlando Sentinel caught wind of the news of the Glo release on iPhone and iPad and showed Glo some love. Check it out!
The Orlando-produced interactive, digital Glo Bible has introduced an iPhone app that works on Macs and iPads.
Glo can be downloaded for free on iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Mac and PC worldwide from www.globible.com. New users can register to receive “Glo Lite” with complete access to the King James Version and New International Version Bibles. Existing users can login on any device to access their media and translations.
Glo features zoom technology and an intuitive touch interface to present a rich interactive database of historic as well as contemporary information including photos, video, maps, artwork, 360-degree virtual tours and more.
“As content moves from paper to digital it is not enough to mimic paper in an electronic form,” says Nelson Saba, CEO of Immersion Digital. ” We need to exploit the full potential of interactive digital media to enhance how such content is experienced. That is the idea behind Glo; a digital publishing platform that offers an enhanced user experience of the content through media.”
Immersion Digital is a technology and media company founded in 2008. Its flagship product, Glo, is an interactive Bible that brings God’s Word to life through HD video, images, animations, maps, reading plans, 360-degree virtual tours and more.
