If you don’t see the Message right away, try these steps:
1) Update your app: go to the AppStore and see if there is an update available.
2) Open a new Bible session. Open the left menu and tap “Bible”. Navigate to a verse. Tap the translation pulldown and see if the Message appeared.
3) Close the app. Double tap the “home” button on your device so recent apps appear. Tap and hold the Glo Bible icon in the recent apps bottom strip, and press the X to close the app. Re-launch the app. Dive into a verse and pull down the translation menu to choose the Message.

There are plenty of translations floating around and they all serve the same purpose.
It is highly ironic how nearly EVERY ‘translation’ deviates from the KJV in many ways, but not so many from one another.
And here it is for free? Well, that is how ALL Bibles should come (minus printing costs, etc)
And why so many new translations come out yearly? Do we really need all these different translations? How many changes can one make to the inspired Words of God?
Questions that should be asked by every student of the Scripture.

@ Thomas : at least be grateful for the Word of GOD being made available to us. Have you ever tried writing a letter before as you raise your voice to speak against different translations? Have you not bought a device of different specs before? Be careful before something happens to you. Every word of God is given by inspiration by the Spirit.
@ Thomas: The spirit of ungratefulness is the spirit of satan. Watch your tongue and your voice properly.. If you have ever written and published a book or pamphlet before and it’s been read by 100 people then you can raise your dirty voice to speak about different translations of the Bible or else shut your mouth,your voice and your fingers from typing. Where I come from,I am taught always to say Thank you….
The king James was a translation too…from the Bible’s original languages…and by no means is it the most accurate translation. Worded in the linguistic mode of the era it was published in, it is also difficult for modern readers, especially the seeking and the unchurched, to understand. I am very thankful for The Message because it helps me help my friends relate to scripture.
