Notes not appearing and Other Issues related to latest release

The latest Glo Bible release included a complete rework of synchronization for notes, highlights and reading plans. This is a vast improvement to ensure stability and manage the large volume of user data that has been generated in the recent months.

Unfortunately this release has caused issues for many users that we are working hard to resolve. There are 2 main issues:

  1. 1) Notes not appearing: Many users who have created notes in their Glo Bible are not seeing their notes in their Journal. Don’t worry, these notes are NOT lost if you are a registered user. They are still in the old synchronization system and not yet appearing in the new system as they should. We are working on a fix for this that should be ready on Mac/PCfirst, and soon followed on iOS as soon as Apple approves it. Any notes that you make in the meantime will not be lost and be added to your existing notes when they are restored.
  2. 2) Crashes: Some users cannot open or use their app because of crashes. This also will be addressed in the next release coming soon. In the meantime, this is often solved by removing and re-installing the app. More info here.

If you are experiencing either of these issues, we sincerely apologize for the downtime. Please submit a support ticket with details, and we will alert you as soon as the issues are resolved.

The timetable is in flux, but we are working hard to get a Mac and PC fix very shortly, and submit iOS to the Apple store soon after. We will keep you posted on when both are ready.
