We are Mac users big time. Five in our home. What a way to read small children. My 6 yr old grandson has been using a Mac since he was 2. He gave his heart to Jesus this summer. I think they would use it a lot. By the way, my other son has two Macs at home.

  2. Phil Mikkelson says:

    What about KJV?

  3. richard says:

Is the Glo Bible software or is it a self contained portable computer?

  4. Janice says:

Which version of NIV is in Glo? What other translation are included?

  5. Sarah Calvert says:

What translations are available? Who did the integration of things like timelines, etc? What scholars were involved in the topical groupings, etc.? These would be important for me to know before I would purchase this, much as I love the technology.

  6. Peter says:

Richard – it is installed software, currently available for PCs

Janice – NIV and KJV are included. We are in talks with alot of the major translations to either include bundled with the box, or to purchase individually as add-ons.

  7. Michael says:

Are you thinking about putting anything out there in the apps store for the ipod touch or the iphone

  8. Jesse says:

I received my copy of Glo today. I have tired to download it. However, I cannot get pass the registeration. I have a 7 section number which I think is the serial number and I enter it but the screen come telling me the activation has failed. It needs the activation code. I am unable to find it. Can anyone tell me where I can find the activation code?
Can anyone help me. I would like to install Glo as soon as I can. I am anxious to use it.

  9. Laura says:

Jesse, you should call tech support to see if they can help you. Let me know what you think of Glo after you get a chance to use it. I am considering ordering it soon.

  10. Pete says:

Please stay focused on PC! PC makes up 95% of all computer users. Mac, Linux, and other operating systems are nice but they are not what 95% of us use every day. I have 5 computers in my home, 5 MP3 players, and 3 cell phones and NONE of them are made by Apple. Even Mac users can run Windows XP in a shell so why put focus on a group that makes up 5% of the computer population?

I like this site really much.

This is really a extraordinary site.
And it is not like other money oriented place, the content here is super valuable.

I am definitely bookmarking it as well as sharing it with my friends.

  15. Philip says:

Bring on the Mac version! Glo looks like it was made on and for Mac people!

I am also very interested in the online integration!

  16. Jake says:

Please focus on creating a port for Linux. My wife and I have one normal computer, a laptop and her netbook that run Ubuntu Linux 9.04. I would love this software and be willing to pay for it. We do not have windows because of the issues associated with viruses, and we do not want to pay Microsoft every few years to keep up with the operating systems. Thank you for doing what you have done for bible study! You are an amazing group.

  17. Bobby says:

No doubt!! Mac Mac Mac! Anybody got an idea WHEN in ‘10 the Mac version will be available?

  18. Adrain says:

Okaaaaay Glo staff!!! WHEN??? IN 2010??? IS THE QUESTION??? When will a Mac Version of the Glo Bible be available??? I bought the Windows version of Glo Bible because I was told that it would work with the Parallels Desktop Software which allow you to run Windows on a Mac computer. Well…it didn’t work with Glo Bible. The program locks up when launched. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! PLEASE BRING ON THE MAC VERSION. I am a minister of 18 years. I believe the Glo Bible software (MAC VERSION) would be a great resource in helping me deliver God’s word, with historical & geographical clarity, to his people. Needless to say, I am eagerly awaiting the Mac Version! I’m praying for the Glo Staff. I know this production is a huge task. God bless!

  20. JoAnna says:

THIS is 2010. When or IF, will the MAC GLO come available??? All these blogs are old, OLD, old.
Doubt MAC GLO will happen in my lifetime. poo

  21. Clinton says:

Yes, they currently have NIV and KJV built in to the program. You can switch between translations whenever you want to (or leave it on one of them permanently if you like).
