Key Locations Relating to
Easter Week

Dome of the Rock	The site where the Temple once stood.
Bethany	Town where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Jesus often stayed here when visiting Jerusalem.
Mount of Olives	The traditional location from where Jesus Ascended. Jesus visited each day after teaching in the Temple.
Gethsemane	Garden at the slopes of Mount of Olives where Jesus Agonized and Prayed after the Last Supper. Jesus was arrested here.
Golgotha	(Place of Skull) Location where Jesus was crucified. Today, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher includes both Golgotha and the Empty Tomb.
